Abstract:

Suspected Chagas disease. Electronmicroscopy analysis revealed preserved myofibrils and an unchanged sarcomeres pattern. In the extracellular space,capillaries with endothelium showing the features of necrosis (bright endothelia lcells) were observed.Trypanosoma Cruzi was not found in the biopsy-Chagas disease was not confirmed.
