Abstract:

Molecular characteristics of the genome of the genus Pestivirus are presented. Differencesin the genome organization between various viruses are described. The mechanism of the regulation of the RNA transcription and the translation processes are shown. The function of thestructural and unstructural proteins produced by the viruses are also discussed in this review.
