Abstrakt:

One of the most important problem of data analysis is finding of possible dependencies between the data characteristics. When these characteristics are of a qualitative nature (described by categorical variables) this problem is solved using e.g the Pearsor,, chi-square test of independence. This test does not work properly when amount of available data is relatively small or in the case of dependent categories · ( e.g. in data sets describing multiple choice queries). ln the paper we propose a bootsrap test which is based on a computer simulation. technique to salve this problem in cases when thechisquare test should not be applied
