Electron microscopy analysis of the heart biopsy

Abstract:

Electronmicroscopy analysis revealed unchanged architecture of cardiomyocyte nuclei and preserved sarcomeric arrangement. Excessive accumulation of mitochondria was observed,especially in the vicinity of cell nuclei and in areas of myofibril atrophy.
