Abstract:

Over the past few years a new class of molecules which couple vast diversity of antibodies with the catalytic power has been successfully raised. They catalyze a variety of reaction like esthers, amides and carbonates hydrolysis, cyclization reactions, asymmetric synthesis with high specificity including enantiomerspecificity. In this article the properties, preparation and possible application of catalytic monoclonal antibodies are presented.
