Autor na podstawie statystycznej analizy wyników odłowów w cylindry prowadzonych w latach 1953-1955 i 1957 na terenie Białowieskiego Parku Narodowego, wykazał liczbowo wpływ deszczu, usłonecznienia, temperatury minimalnej i ochładzania na odłowy.
