Abstract:

The subject of this the paper is intelligent counting under imprecision possibly combined with incompleteness of information. Formally, it collapses to counting in fuzzzy sets in their extensions. We show that there is a strong connection between intelligent counting and classification issues whenever counting by thresholding and FECounts are involved.
