Description:

Przeprowadzono badania na 42 czaszkach żubrów zarejestrowanych w ksiegach rodowych, w tym 23 czaszkach samic w wieku 1-27 lat oraz 19 czaszkach samców w wieku 1-22 lata (Tabela 1). Wiekszość - 27 czaszek - pochodzi od żubrów nizinnych (Ryc. 1 i 2); pozostałe 13 - to czaszki żubrów linii kaukaskiej (Ryc. 3). Ustalono ważniejsze punkty pomiarowe na czaszce żubra (Ryc. 4-5) i wykonano 54 pomiary.
