She has a string of beads around her neck. According to the photo's owner, it depicts 24-year-old Marianna (...), daughter of a farmer from the village of Wiślica. The photo was taken in Warsaw ; 1936, Wiślica / Warszawa ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
