Description:

The photo depicts four adults and a child posing for the camera in a yard. An elderly man dressed in a dark suit and a younger man in a white shirt and bright trousers are sitting on a bench. There is also a girl who is sitting between them turned round to the side; a woman and a man are standing behind them (we cannot see the man's face since it was "cut off” by the author of the photo). There is some lush greenery in the background. According to the photo's owner, it depicts family (...) in the yard of the house in the village of Redlino ; 13th July 1945, Redlino ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
