n.sp. ; Aktualnie akceptowana nazwa Ptychomnion fruticetorum przyjęta została z niepublikowanej pracy doktorskiej Hattawaya (1984). Według tego autora gatunek ten mieści się w zakresie zmienności P. cygnisetum. Wyróżnił on fenotypy "fruticetorum" jako osobną formę tego gatunku, ale jej nazwa nie została dotychczas ważnie opublikowana i dlatego jest tutaj pominięta, zwlaszcza że wartość systematyczna tej formy jest wątpliwa.
