The woman is dressed in a white dress with a veil; she is holding a flower bouquet in her hands. The man is dressed in a dark suit. The women, who accompany them, are also wearing white dresses. They differ from the bride only because they do not have veils. The men accompanying the newlyweds have wedding rosettes pinned to lapels of their jackets. According to the photo's owner, it was taken in 1946-48 and depicts the wedding of his uncle (father's brother, in the middle) and the couples who accompanied the newlyweds ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
