Description:

The photo depicts a woman and a man sitting in chairs in front of a house/ a farm building (?). There is a small boy between them. The woman is dressed in a long dark blouse with a collar and a long skirt; she has a string of beads around her neck. The man is dressed in a suit, a white shirt with a band collar and has a hat on his head. The boy is wearing a shirt and knee-long trousers. A man in a suit is standing behind the sitting people. On the right side of the photo there is a wooden door. The photo is of a very poor quality. According to the photo's owner, it depicts her great grandparents - Franciszka and Franciszek (...) The young boy in the middle is her grandfather (on her mother's side) - Ignacy (...). The photo was taken by an unknown photographer in the place of their residence - the village of Bożydar, Poznań voivodeship. The man standing at the back has not been identified ; 1912, Bożydar, poznańskie voivodeship ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
