According to the photo's owner, it was taken on 3 May 1939 in Bieruń Stary, in the town square, after the 3rd of May parade. It depicts a unit of the Uprising Youth including, among others, father of the photo’s owner's husband - Franciszek (...) - (marked with the letter x). Next, there are Teofil (...), Józef (...), Augustyn (...), Jan (...), Walenty (...), Alojzy (...), Walenty (...), Alojzy (...), Franciszek and Karol (...). The photo was taken by a photographer from Bieruń Stary ; 3rd May 1939, Bieruń Stary, voiv. śląskie ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
