Description:

The photo depicts a family - a woman and a man sitting in chairs in a garden; there are four women standing behind them, dressed in festive frocks, and a boy with a bicycle dressed in a suit and a tie. In the background there is a fence and some garden greenery. On the back of the photo there is the following inscription: "a) Sunday, May 1934; b) depicts family (...) of my father's mother: first from the left is brother Władysław, then sisters: Marta, Stanisława, Regina and grandmother's [sister] Janina and their parents: Jadwiga and Adolf; c) the photo was taken by the oldest son of Jadwiga and Adolf: Józef; d) the photo was taken on a farm (...) in the village of Cegielnia" ; May 1934, Cegielnia near Kruszyna ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
