Description:

Plasma androgen concentration was measured in 3 red deer stags by radioimmunoassay monthly during 2 or 3 years. The seasonal changes in androgen concentration was correlated with the reproduction and antler cycles. The highest values from 14 to 36 ng/ml were found in September and the lowest ones from 0.2 to 1.5 ng/ml in April and May.
