The supply of browse and its utilization by deer were estimated in a Fagetum carpaticum biotope in two mountain forest administration districts: Piwniczna and Stuposiany. Parellel tests were made of three methods for estimating browse supply from the aspect of their suitability for use under mountain conditions.
