Abstract:

The authors presented here commemorate the Late Professor Zofia Sulgostowska, an eminent prehistorian specializing in Palaeolithic and Mesolithic studies. Remembering Prof. Sulgostowska are her colleagues, friends and students from the two archaeological institutions where she had worked: the State Archaeological Museum (Dr. Wojciech Borkowski, Elżbieta Cie-pielewska, MA) and the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Dr. Hanna Kowalewska-Marszałek, Halina Królik, MA, Prof. dr hab. Maria Dekówna, Katarzyna Kerneder-Gubała, MA, Dr. Dagmara H. Werra, Prof. dr hab. Jacek Kabaciński, Dr. hab. Iwona Sobkowiak-Tabaka, currently a professor at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań). Also included are reminiscences by researchers from other scientific institutions: the Poznań Archaeo-logical Museum (Dr. Małgorzata Winiarska-Kabacińska), and the Archaeological and Ethno-graphic Museum in Łódź (Dr. Dominik Kacper Płaza).
