Title: Management of Real Estate of the Agricultural Property Stock of the State Treasury

Abstract:

Abstract: The article tries to evaluate the Agricultural Property Agency’s activity to date regarding its statutory requirements and permanent disposal of property in particular. The dominant form of disposal of real estate is sale. From the beginning of the Agricultural Property Agency’s activity, 3.2 mln ha of land have been permanently allocated, of which 2.6 mln ha were sold. The subject of privatisation is also infrastructure of state farms taken over by the Agency to the Agricultural Property Stock. The remaining 1.5 mln ha are subject to further privatisation, in particular by sale. Each year land within leasing is decreasing approximately by 150 th ha due to such factors as the terminations of leasing contracts and the exclusions parts of land being in lease. The analysis was based on the data of the Agricultural Property Agency’s activity reports, internal studies and available scientific literature. The presented results prove the Agency’s huge involvement in the process of privatisation of agricultural property and other processes which accompany permanent disposal of property after 22 years of the Agency’s functioning.
