Abstract:

The article aims to conduct a formal-legal classification of Ruthenian documents related to land grants by the grand duke of Lithuania from the 1480s to the first third of the sixteenth century, clarifying the procedure of these grants, and defining the formal differences between notification and confirmation documents.
