Wincenty Kadłubek i Aleksander Wielki. Przyczynek do erudycji Mistrza Wincentego Kadłubka

The article explores a previously unknown source of Wincenty Kadłubek’s knowledge about Alexander the Great, the so-called Historia Alexandri from Legnica. It highlights the shared language and narratives found in both texts and reviews existing literature on the subject. Historia Alexandri from Legnica was described and published as a late medieval work by Alfons Hilke in the early twentieth century. Recent findings by Julie Barrau suggest, however, that it is actually a twelfth-century text, probably produced within the circle of the University of Paris.
