Date issued/created:[1943] ; The photo depicts a young woman in a military coat and a four-cornered military hat with the eagle emblem holding in her lap a small girl. The woman and the girl are sitting on chopped logs/ branches. According to the photo's owner, it depicts Maria (...) - her grandmother’s sister - with grandmother’s daughter Dominika (...). Maria was a messenger of Bataliony Chłopskie [Peasants' Battalions] and used the code name „Mała” [the “Little One”]. The photo was taken in 1943 in the Brzostowo forest, Lubartów district
