The photo depicts two women in a small farm yard with some poultry walking in it: ducks and turkeys. In the distance there is a large timber farm building (a barn?). One of the women is holding a pot in her hands and from it she is throwing corn to the animals. She is dressed in a work apron. The other woman, elegantly dressed, in a dress and a headband, is standing next to her. According to the photo’s owner, it depicts women feeding poultry on a farm in the village of Nierostowo ; 1942, Nierostowo, com. Konarzyny, voiv. słupskie ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
