Abstract:

Two new species of grass-feeding eriophyid mites collected in northern Europeare described. Aceria arenariae sp. nov., inhabiting European beachgrass, Ammophilaarenaria (L.) Link. was found in Denmark. Aculochetus blaszaki sp. nov. inhabiting purple moorgrass, Molinia coerulea (L.) Moench was found in Finland. New locality and host records for Abacarus hystrix (Nalepa, 1896) and Aculodes mckenziei (Keifer, 1944) are also given.
