Photography (scan from a slide). The picture shows the interior of the temple dedicated to Pabuji, built in the town in which he lived - Kolu Pabuji in Marwar region in the western part of Rajasthan. On the altar there are three reliefs - Pabuji as a rider on a horse (center) and two other riders on horses, companions of hero. In the village of Kolu Pabuji was born one of the ancestors of the family of Rathor Rajputs and one of the heroes of epic poems and songs of the western part of India. He was rajput who, according to epos he devoted his life to fight for the welfare of his lieges. In the series of epos occurs characters, members of his team. These figures are presented on other smaller reliefs lying in the temple. Song of the Pabuji Rathor are sung besides rajputs also by shepherds and some lower castes related cultural and economic with rajputs
