Photography (scan from a slide). In the picture the first stage of the production of colored fabrics - preparing them for painting. On the ground there are white fabric and next woodcut blocks and a dish with paint. The production process of colored fabrics consists of dyeing and printing. At the first stage, you dye fabric, then with blocks of woodcut print in a variety of patterns. This entire process takes place in the district on the outskirts of the city of weavers, and work is done by members of one family - a man with his wife and children
