Description:

The multicultural area from which signs of the Neolithic settlement come (Baden culture, corded ware culture, Linear Pottery culture, Lengyel culture), from the Bronze Age (Sorbian culture) and from the Roman and early medieval period. The excavation work gave the possibility to observation of the settlement continuity, particularly manufacturing pottery and smelting settlements. Long-term examinations excavation, carried out by the IHKM, were held in 1953-1956 years, 1962, 1970. The works were supervised by: Leszek Gajewski, Jan Gromnicki, Stefan Nosek, Jacek Rydzewski
