Description:

Inowłódź is being ranked among the group of the oldest and the most interesting towns of the central Poland. In its area the numerous remains of the prince's castle centre behaved. Post-war excavation examinations started on the castle hill in 1949. They were resumed in 1973 and lasted, with the break at yr 1976, till 1985. In their result the entire castle assumption was revealed, getting the row of primary data in relation to history and the history of their structure. The supervisors of the works were: Bohdan Guerquin, Włodzimierz Pela and Jerzy Augustyniak
