Description:

Photography (scan from a slide). The photo shows a village inhabited by shepherds rabari. Cottages are built of reeds. Before cottages lie equipment used to work. The image shows a woman and children, and besides goats. Rabari from the southern part of the Sindh live in the area from Badina to the Nagar Parkar area. They have common roots with the rabari shepherds living in the District of Kutch. They were separated after the establishment of the border between India and Pakistan. Other Hindus live among the followers of Islam
