Description:

Photography (scan from a slide). The village of shepherds kachchi rabari with preserved traditional huts (bhunga). Cottage are built on a circular plan with a wooden pin posed in the middle. The walls are made of clay and has thatch roof. In the past, the shepherds rabari built their settlements outside the village. In the picture is shown one of the shrines set outside the village, at which the shepherds celebrate the night ceremonies. There are two forms of construction - a more contemporary design is rectangular in shape, and on the right elderly on the circle plan with stones set. Sign trident (trishula) exposed on the shrine emphasizes belonging to Hinduism. Colorful flags indicate nocturnal ceremonies
