Description:

Photography (scan from a slide). Guests at the wedding ceremony kachchi rabari. Guests are dressed in festive costumes, women in distinctive long black veils with red dots. Young women decorated with jewelry, indicating their status as married women. Men are traditionally dressed in white, with the black and purple turban with patterns - a sign of belonging to a group kachchi rabari. On the right side is visible head and arm with a sword of the groom. The picture also shows the 'pillars' wedding stacked with copper pots. These are Hindu ceremonial items
