Abstract:This paper contains an inventory of 120 species registered to date from the area of the Holy Cross (Świętokrzyskie) Mountains. The carabid fauna recorded in the area includes 12 species belonging to the genus CarabusL., classified as legally protected species in Poland, 6 mountain-associated species and 2 species, Pterostichus burmeisterii HERR and Amara erratica (DUFT.), occurring at isolated locations. A. erraticais regarded as a postglacial relic within the Park.
