Abstract:About 2000 specimens of fleas (Siphonaptera) were taken from 54 nests of the house sparrow (Passer domesticus) and 184 nests of the tree sparrow (Passer montanus) in central Poland. Among them, Ceratophyllus pullatus JORDAN et ROTHSCHILD, 1920, represented by two males, is formally new to the Polish fauna.
