The photograph shows a married couple with seven children of different ages. They pose for the photo in front of a white-washed house. Above windows of the house you can see intertwined branches of three trees standing in front of the building . The mother and father of a family are sitting on chairs, and around them there are five girls and one boy. The youngest child, a baby, a woman is holding in her lap. The two oldest girls are from a teen-age to 20 years old. A girl next in the order is about 13-14 years old, and two younger about 8 years and 5 years. A boy standing between the oldest sister looks for about 10 years old. The two oldest girls have neatly arranged, lush hair and are dressed in white embroidered blouses with stand-up collars and long, elegant skirts with a belt, which emphasizes their slim waists. Average daughter is wearing an elegant dress with white lace collar. She is holding a flower in her hand. The youngest girls are also dressed very neatly in a nice, dark dresses with white collars. The boy is wearing a dark gown. The mother of the family is wearing a dark, long dress with stand-up collar with ribbon applications on a bodice and a bottom of the skirt. The family man is wearing a dark jacket and trousers. On the right side of the photo there is a stamp: Atelier "ARS", Częstochowa ; According to the account of the owner of a photo, it shows his mother family without two older brothers, who at that time were already in an army, and two children who died at the age of 5-6 years. His mother is pictured first from the right side. A grandmother sitting on a chair has 40 years then and his grandfather sitting next to her 46 years. All children standing around them lived to see adulthood except the youngest (in the photograph sits on her mother's lap), who died at the age of 25 years ; On the back of the photo there is an inscription: Family (...), New Żakowice near Koluszki ; On a margin there are names of peoples present in the picture, a part of it is illegible due to a damaged corner: [illegible], Ludzia (?), Gieńka, Irena, Kazik, Grandmother, Grandfather, Stefcia, Mietek, Dog ; 1910, New Żakowice near Koluszki ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
