Description:

The photograph shows three young men posing for a picture in a room against the background of a wall and a window with a decorative grating. One of the men is sitting on a chair (he is a father of the owner of the photo), and two others are standing next to him. All the men are wearing military uniforms and hats with the Polish eagle [badge with the Polish emblem on uniform caps] with an exception of the soldier in the middle - he is holding his cap in his hand ; According to the account of the owner of a photo it shows her father with colleagues in army ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
