Description:

The photo shows people standing along a cemetery wall in a long row holding a white-and-red band. Wreaths of flowers lie at their feet. There are numerous people in uniforms, but also civilian men, women and children. At the far end of the row of people there is an armed man facing the soldiers ; According to the owner of the photograph, it shows Poles taking part in the celebration of the 71st anniversary of the January uprising. The ninth person from the right is her father, a legionnaire, Jan (...) ; January 1934, Kobryń, now Belarus ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
