Date issued/created: Description:The photo shows a group of a few dozen young men sitting or standing under the spreaded branches a large tree. The men are dressed in smart suits, white shirts with small upright collars and ties or bow ties. They are posing for the photo in four rows. In the first row three men are sitting aside from the group. Between the second and third of them there is a flag showing the patron saint of the group- st. Anthony of Padua ; At the bottom of the photo the words are printed: “1907 The Society 1912 of Polish-Catholic Youth in Trzemeszno ; On the other side of the photo there is an illegible inscription ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
