The photo shows three teenage girls in folk costumes standing on either side of a priest in a cassock. The photo was taken outside against a background of foliage. The girls are wearing, patterned skirts, decorative, little aprons, embroidered jerkins, tied back headscarves and bead necklaces ; According to the owner of the photo, it was taken in 1940 and shows his two aunts with a friend of theirs and the parish-priest. According to the donor, these are the costumes in which this feast was celebrated in his region ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
