Abstract:Three new species of the genus Atrocrates Kuch, 1956 are described and illustrated: A. gansbaaiensis, A. medvedevi and A. nudus. The species belong to the generic group trigonopoid Platynotina from South Africa. Ovoviviparity has been recorded in Atrocrates medvedevi sp. nov.
