Abstract:

The article presents a report written in April 1927 by Zygmunt Mostowski, the Polish consul in Tbilisi, on the situation in the Georgian Orthodox Church after the death of Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ambrosius, and discusses the most important conclusions drawn by the Polish diplomat from the events related to the conflict within the Georgian Orthodox Church resulting from its infiltration by the Soviet special services.
