Type of object: Subject and Keywords: Abstract:The distribution of wandering spiders in the field-layer and pines of the young pine forests was analysed. Comparing the distribution of separate species in each of the forest layers with its percentage share in the field spiders association and the pine spiders association at several stands it was stated that some species show a correlation of these elements which, it is believed, is a result of the interspecies competition of spiders. The type of correlation depends on the importance of the species in the association.
