Abstract:Studies were made in 1964 and 1966 on the quantitative occurrence of bumble-bees in Lublin, the species composition of these insects and of the plants they visit. Observations were made by catching humble-bees visiting flowering plants in parks, squares, lawns, waste-land etc. 15 species of bumble-bees were found to visit 64 species of plants.
