Abstract:

In 1987, in the eutrophic MikoĊ‚ajskie Lake the occurrence, numbers, biomass, age structure, size structure and growth of family Unionidae bivalves were determined and compared with the results of identical studies performed 15 years earlier. There were adverse changes in the Unionidae populations, related to an increase in lake eutrophication and pollution.
