Abstract:

On the basis of data from literature nad personal observations in 79 cases of cerebral and cerebellar astrocytoma, the author discusses various aspects of their morphology. The main aim of the work was to analyse the factors influencing the morphological picture of astrocytomas, which besides multiple glioblastomas, are the most common neuroectodermal tumors of the brain.
