Abstract:

The studies were carried out on adult albino rats of both sexes which were submitted to carbon monoxide intoxication according to the method, described by Śmiałek et al. (1973). Brains of animals, sacrificed during intoxication and at various time intervales of post intoxication period were fixed in formalin and fozen section were stained according to Pickworth’s method, aiming in visualizationof the cerebral vessels network.
