Description:

In the King's Forest in Suffolk, England, an area of 2360 ha of mainly coniferous commercial woodland, the distribution of four species of deer were recorded on a presence/absence basis in each of 228 compartments. These distributions were compared with simple habitat and other variables describing the compartments.
