Use of space and interspecific interactions in a small rodent community were studied in a lake coastal zone. The material was collected by a CMR method on two 1-ha plots: CP – control plot and EP – experimental plot, in four trapping series, in summer and early autumn. After two trapping series all small rodents were removed from EP.
