Abstract:

The problem of effective implementations of computing intensiva Oecision Support Systems is discussed. Background computations and parallel computations are proposed as means to overcome the computing capacity bottleneck in computer supported interactive decision making. The transputer technology is envisaged as appropriate for multiprocessor implementations of Decision Support Systems.
