RCIN and OZwRCIN projects

Collection

Library

The collection includes items from the collections of the Central Library of Geography and Environmental Protection operating at IGiPZ PAN. Digital versions of publications issued by IGiPZ PAN and items from the CBGiOŚ collections are presented, including the collection of the Polish Geographical Society (collected until 1953) and the collection of prof. Józef Staszewski. Many of the digitized items are old maps, old prints, 19th and 20th century literature. Many items are the achievements of famous Polish geographers, and world travelers. These resources may be of interest to the scientific community, students, representatives of government agencies and experts, as well as individual readers, including teachers, journalists and enthusiasts.
