 abstract={This article presents the results of a study examining the accessibility of medical, cultural, recreational, and sports services for seniors (i.e. individuals aged 60 and over). Data on the frequency of use of these services, as well as an assessment of their organisational accessibility (accommodation), was collected through a representative survey of 900 Polish residents in 10 types of functional municipality, conducted using the CATI method. The survey revealed that the frequency of use of medical services varies depending on place of residence (i.e. functional municipality type), with a higher frequency observed in core areas and a lower frequency in peripheral areas. The frequency is also influenced by the level of centralisation of a given service. Medical services used by seniors are most often located in their municipality of residence. Seniors rarely use cultural services and almost never use sports and recreation services. Respondents gave positive assessments of the organisational dimension of accessibility to medical services, with the highest ratings given to services operating on market mechanisms (e.g. pharmacies) and the lowest to access to primary care physicians other than general practitioners.},
